Outreach Support Worker Walthamstow, E17
To assist the repairs team in the smooth delivery of a quality customer focused service. The successful applicant would have experience in administrative support within a social housing environment. The candidate will ensure that they are organized to work under pressure to carry out effective office administration to assist in the delivery of our responsive repairs and investment works. Your primary focus will be to support the team in carrying out all administrative tasks, from liaising with customers visiting the local office, managing incoming and outgoing post, effective logging and maintaining of holiday and sickness records to ensuring all complaints are logged and passed to the relevant managers to investigate. You will monitor that van checks have been carried out by the management team and devise mechanisms to ensure that these are carried out at regular intervals and the follow up actions are completed. You will liaise with residents to assist them with their enquiries and you will also liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure that PGM provide the best possible customer service. You will assist the management team in developing a strong health and safety culture and monitoring aspects of health and safety. You will have the skills to develop reports on all aspects of your work You will have attention to detail to ensure all processes are followed and to make sure that all records and documents are correctly maintained.

It will also ensure that the organisation has a proactive and informed approach to policy and procedure review to maximise impact, providing innovative and fresh thinking to constructively challenge ways of working. Peabody has made a strategic commitment to growing and using our position of influence to create positive change. The Strategy and Policy Manager will also work to horizon scan and understand key external changes. The Data and Analytics team sits in the Policy and Strategy Directorate at Peabody, and helps guide the company’s policies and strategies in regards to data and analytics, including internal management, and use for policy research and with external partners. Currently, we are amidst leading a strategy to engrain data into the DNA of the organisation. We are doing this by continuing to build on a data quality strategy that has been quite effective at: raising data literacy, building a stakeholder driven insight and improvement cycle, and implanting efficiency at improving data gathering and use. We make the road by walking, which includes testing the ground before us and turning around to go another way when we find ourselves at a dead end.
