Peabody are a leading housing association, with over 65,000 homes and 150 years of history of providing affordable homes for Londoners. Our focus is on building and maintaining the best quality developments, working with local communities and building long-term partnerships to create positive change. We are committed to being London’s housing association, and whilst we have recently approved a 50-mile operation area that includes the Home Counties, Essex and Kent we will still target delivering the substantial majority of our homes within London. Considering the London land and sales market we envision the Outer London boroughs as key to our current and future growth plans. Moving forward our Development Strategy looks to build our capacity so by 2021/2022, we as an organisation (including Town & Country Housing), will be delivering 3,300 homes a year. As part of this we will have a focus on joint venture working with key partners and contractors and securing a mix of strategic land opportunities to build a robust pipeline.
